things i'd love to do

things I’d love to do but probably won’t

sky diving

when i was getting close to turning 18, i really wanted to go skydiving. i don't think it was for an adrenaline rush really. i think it was more about proving something to myself. that i could do this probably scary thing. even with all the feelings that probably come with jumping for the first time, i was confident i would head right out the door. unfortunately, i think my mom was a little worried by the idea of skydiving, so this was not something i did or have gotten to do yet. these days i don't think i will. the occasional trip to the theme park and riding roller coasters i think is enough for me

play in a band

it'd probably be a punk band, and in my 30s, i just don't think i could keep up with that. i know what i'd love it to be. show up, play loud, disappear, but the whole place can't stop talking about you. i think that kind of lifestyle is behind me. but i know i owe it to myself to be a punk girl at least once!

own a car and work on it and tune it

maybe this one sounds off in this day and age. i'm very pro mass transit. however, due to my eyesight, i never got to own a car. i would've loved the chance to own an easy to work on car, then improving it past the stock capabilities. i would've loved the chance to learn how to drive a manual transmission. i think it would've been some type of hatchback that i would've loved. i also really loved the nissan 240sx in my teens
